Non-disclosure – new Industry guidelines

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 21 February 2008 at the Mayfair Conference Centre, London.

Following the publication of the new ABI / FOS guidelines relating to non-disclosure, the HCF is looking to provide an interactive day with leading industry figures, including the FOS, to look in detail at the background to the new guidelines, how they should be interpreted as well as case studies demonstrating how the guidelines are likely to work in practice. The day will be a mix of presentations and case studies.

It is obviously vital that members understand the guidelines and that there is a common approach to the interpretation of them across the industry in line with FOS thinking. As well as understanding the guidelines, the day should also give members food for thought in terms of the actions they should be taking within their own companies as a result of their introduction.

A high demand for places is expected and as a result we are limiting attendance to two attendees from each member. The cost per delegate is £50 (see below for details concerning payment).

We may consider running a second day if there is additional demand. Please let us know if other people in your office would be interested in attending a second day, if one were arranged.
